Based in the Arrowtown Community police station – our village now has one of the most up to date CCTV systems covering most of the CBD area. There is a comprehensive network of ducts and cabling that ensures the system is “future proofed”.

Because Arrowtown does not require 24 hour policing this CCTV system enables police to easily review any reported events – no matter how minor. If you have concerns about anything (including traffic and parking) – then please contact the Arrowtown Community police station – 442 1274. If you have suspicions of shoplifting – please make contact immediately so that a search can be made for the offender/s.

The cameras are not normally monitored. Anyone who has access to the system is either covered by the police policy on CCTV operations or by policy of the Arrowtown Village Association that has been approved by the Privacy Commissioner The system is in a locked, alarmed room and pass protected.
